How does it work?
The Daikin Altherma Hybrid heat pump technology is carefully controlled to deliver the most cost efficient operation at every outdoor temperature. The switch-over between different operating modes depends on the relative cost of gas and electricity. The controller carefully monitors the indoor and outdoor temperatures along with the flow temperatures and decides which is the most cost effect operating mode. This ensures that the system is working most efficiently whilst still providing sufficient heating and hot water.
